ADAM

Don’t you ever listen to a snake again.

EVE

You named it. Why didn’t you put a sign on it?

ADAM

"Ssssnaaaakkke" isn’t enough of a warning?

EVE

Obviously not.

ADAM

All you had to do is not listen to it.

EVE

How was I supposed to know that? I could listen to anything else I wanted to in the Garden. Besides, it said a lot of true things. It’s not my fault that a smart snake could...could...word, please.

ADAM

EVE
